28 chargers. Sweden's largest Tesla Supercharger station opened today along the E6 road on the coast of Halland. This will be Tesla's 63rd Supercharger station in the country, and as we've written before, the manufacturer has started opening these stations for EVs outside of Tesla.
The chargers at the new station are of the third generation (V3 Supercharging) with outputs up to 250 kW. If you're driving a Model 3 or Model Y, you should be able to go 27.5 miles on a quarter charge at best.

Are you planning to drive an electric car in midsummer now?
Today, Tesla's Supercharger station in Sweden opens to other EVs
in selected places
Now Tesla continues its pilot program to let EV owners other than Tesla charge at fast-charging stations. The opportunity to do so is launched today in selected locations in Sweden, Spain, the UK, Belgium and Austria. In our case, 542 superchargers were spread across 42 sites from north to south. For those who don't have a Tesla, you can start with a monthly subscription of SEK 129 in Tesla's app and then get a lower kWh price. If you skip the subscription, the average charge is SEK 7.30 per kWh. Charging prices are in the app and vary between the different sites involved in the project. Only EVs with a CCS connector can be charged at supercharger stations, you can find where they can be charged in the app or here.

Sweden now has 50 supercharging stations
Dorotea from Västerbotten contributes to a milestone
Tesla has now opened its fiftieth Supercharger station in Sweden, in Dorotia, Westbotten province. There are now four chargers here, all with V3 Super Charge (up to 250 kW). The chargers are located near the E45, which means there are now 582 charging cables to choose from in the country. So you can now drive all the way from Ystad to Kiruna and only charge at Tesla's Supercharger.

3rd party cables...painful
Tesla's supercharger remains a big part of car choice
Electric vehicle charging has always been on the agenda, and Tesla fans often talk about it as one of the more important reasons for choosing Tesla. I rarely charge myself, and don't really think that's an important argument, since chargers have grown more and more. But in the past 10 days, I've been running around Stockholm and on a trip to Öland, the trip without European roads, and I've tasted a charge other than Tesla's supercharger, and at least better than me Harder to imagine. Charging Attempt #1 - Always connect the data cable out of the funk and disconnect the charging case so the car can be parked without charging.
