These are lecture for an in-person class for an upper-level cybersecurity course that deals with the human factors of the field, including social engineering, data/information/knowledge/wisdom, and other such topics.
I typically do not post lectures here, as this channel was started for supplemental videos for students to use outside of class. While I typically don’t write scripts for my videos, I do at least have the option of re-recording something if I am unhappy with it or accidentally say something that is not factual. I do not have that luxury for in-person lectures. So, while I invite you to enjoy these lectures and provide me with corrections/feedback, please keep in mind that these are: 1) Not created with the online viewer in mind. These are in-person lectures. 2) No edited or scripted in any way. 3) Given by a person with a fallible memory who is prone to imprecision and hyperbole.
Cunningham’s Law states “the best way to get the right answer on the internet is not to ask a question; it’s to post the wrong answer.”
