With the release of iOS 14 and iPadOS 14, it’s possible to choose a default Mail app other than Default Mail. While there’s nothing wrong with Apple’s Mail, some people just prefer third-party apps with different features.

If you’re one of these people and want to change the default email app on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps. Then, when you click an email address or link to which you can send an email, you can automatically use your favorite app without any further action.

Obviously, if you want to use a third-party email app as your default, you’ve already downloaded and installed it. However, make sure the program is updated to the latest version.

1. Open the app “set up” on iPhone or iPad.

2. Go to Mailer Settings in the application list.

3. Choose a section “Default Mail Application”.

4. Select the email application you want to use as your default. If you have more than one mail application installed, you will see that they are all available options as shown in the screenshot below.

Keep in mind that not all email apps currently have this feature or don’t yet offer it.So if you don’t see the option “Default Mail Application” In the settings of the Mail app, you may have to wait a while until the developer updates the program.
