Volkswagen Anhui pushes production at full speed,The mass-produced car will roll off the assembly line this year, and will be mass-produced in the second half of 2023.

According to reports,The new body shop covers an area of 140,000 square meters, The construction lasted 6 months and was completed in February this year. It has been 10 months since Volkswagen's Anhui MEB plant started construction in April last year. The body-in-white is the assembly of the vehicle infrastructure and the first key link in the vehicle manufacturing process.
For the first time within the Volkswagen Group, the body shop of the Volkswagen MEB plant in Anhui has adopted the "Measuring Online 2025" technology. The technology enables online measurement of all body-in-white production lines, increasing the efficiency and precision of the entire production process. In addition, the body shop has a total of around 900 robots and employs cutting-edge vision repair welding technology in 50 robot stations.This is also the first time for the Group's MEB factory in China.
IT House learned that in addition to the body shop, the Volkswagen Anhui MEB plant also includes a final assembly shop and a spraying shop, which will be fully completed in the next few months.
