The tactical FPS Ready or Not returned to Steam yesterday after being briefly removed due to a trademark dispute. Developer VOID Interactive is ready to explain.
Return to Steam whether you're ready or not, ready or not
The key to this trademark infringement is apparently the "new nightclub map" introduced to the game last week as part of the latest update to Early Access.
VOID tweeted: "We take intellectual property issues very seriously and in good faith we have decided to remove the material in question and any reference to it from Ready or Not and all of our social media and other publications. ."
Ready or Not was removed from Steam for two days while the team made the changes. But now that the game has resurfaced, it's safe to assume the trademark issue has been resolved.
