This could be the first smartphone to support 200W charging
Fast charging has been a trend in smartphone manufacturing for the past few years. Companies race to create their own technology, who will be able to maximize overclocking. The next milestone, many Chinese companies are scrambling to reach 200 watts.
Xiaomi was one of the first companies to demonstrate 200W charging. It happened last May, and to this day the company has not commercialized the technology. Seeking to bring charging to 200 W and Realme, and another representative of the BBK family and part-time Vivo sub-brand - iQOO. Rumor has it that the iQOO 10 Pro can be charged at 200W, and it could very well be the first in the market to have such a powerful charging capability.
The company is already testing the technology, and people familiar with the matter say the iQOO 10 Pro can be fully charged in just 12 minutes and 70% in just 5 minutes. The exact battery capacity has not been announced, but it is said to be quite large, around 4800-5000 mAh.
The iQOO 10 Pro is expected to offer a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, an LTPO display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and QuadHD+ resolution.
