Game optimization, maybe not ready yet?

Game optimization, maybe not ready yet?

AMD and Nvidia not only release new graphics drivers when new products are released, but they also release new graphics drivers when problems need to be fixed or new games need to be optimized. That's why Nvidia released Geforce Game Ready Driver 516.40 WHQL this week, which supports some new games and new features in existing games.

New rumors about Geforce RTX 4000: GPU max power limit leaked

The main new game optimized for this driver release is Fall Guys: Free for All, a multiplayer battle royale game that relies on player skill. The game is scheduled to release on the Epic Games Store on June 21. The new driver should also provide updates for existing games. For example, DLSS and ray tracing were implemented in Jurassic World Evolution 2 and should now be optimized for use as well. Ray tracing was also implemented in Capcom's Resident Evil games 2, 3, and 7, and should now be used optimally on the driver side as well.

Beyond that, Five Nights for Dolmen, Evil Dead: The Game, Freddy's: Security Breach, My Time at Sandrock, Paradise Killer, Sniper Elite 5, V Rising, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong and Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Door - Added Demon Hunter.

However, since the first issues with the new drivers have surfaced in hardware forums and social media shortly after their release, the installation should only be done when one of the new games is about to be played. Complications that most users have complained about are artifact formation, other graphical bugs, and system crashes that previously had no issues, so Geforce Game Ready 516.40 is not recommended for now.
